Fans of previous LEGO titles are sure to enjoy the fast-paced action and complex puzzles found in LEGO Jurassic World. Excellent visuals and sound effects from the original LEGO Jurassic World have been masterfully redone and optimized for mobile use. The seamless integration of logic puzzles is the perfect counterpoint to the relentless adventure throughout the rest of the game. With a number of new features such as interchangeable skills and upgrades, LEGO has also made this one of their most replayable titles.

Those who have watched any of the Jurassic Park movies will easily be able to dive right into the storyline. As you start the game, you will have access to a variety of levels based off of the original movie. You will need to beat those original levels as well as complete a few goals from the Jurassic World storyline before you can finally progress to The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3. Just like the original game, there are around five stages for each of those movies. While all of the levels can be beaten in a short period of time, most stages must be replayed to unlock new skills and tokens.

One of the most enticing features of LEGO Jurassic World is the ability to find various body parts throughout the game to create your own custom dinosaur. Once you have created your personalized dinosaurs, you can then use them to smash through barriers or lift you over walls. This added layer of complexity makes Jurassic World feel more advanced than most other LEGO titles. You will also need to use your dinosaur to unlock a variety of upgrades for each of your characters. Items such as Malcolm's flare and Tim's night vision goggles will be integral at later stages of the game.

What really sets LEGO Jurassic World apart is the amazing attention to detail. Dozens of scenes from the series are faithfully reproduced in this game, and that makes it an extremely immersive experience. All of the favorite quotes, songs, and sound effects have also been integrating into this game. While some of the cutscenes were removed from the game to make it a manageable download, the vast majority of features remain untouched. With a new Android tablet or smartphone, the dazzling graphics are something to behold.

Other than the awkward controls, most fans of this franchise will have a tough time finding anything to dislike about this game. The digital gamepad and joystick take awhile to get used to, but most veteran gamers should be comfortable with the controls after just a few minutes. This game also stands out from the pack because of its replayability. As new items and skills are unlocked, you will need to go back and explore all of the old levels again to uncover secret areas.
